NASA has raised the bar again, bringing video streaming to another level by offering a reality show where daily activities of the astronauts working on the International Space Station are presented. They expect a lot of viewers during the live stream as images from 220 miles above earth’s surface will be available.

The live stream will be available for Internet viewers during the working schedule of the astronauts and the crew assisting them. Also images from the laboratories, communications between Mission Control and the crew and docking operations will be just one click away.

Basically you will be able to watch how an astronaut works and lives on a space station through the „eye” of the camera. The best part for the audience is that no ads will be inserted during the show.

The cameras used for online streaming are also used by the NASA’s command center in Houston for observation and communication. But the system is a bit different because the live stream from the space is only available when the station is in direct contact with the Earth using the high speed communication antenna and NASA’s satellite system. Earlier last week NASA offered Internet access for the astronauts on the space station.

This is another interesting story about how live streaming can help even saving a life. Read the entire article HERE.
